The punk band “Converge” has received some complaints from Filipinos. However, it has nothing to do with them nor their music.

On their Facebook display photo featuring Converge’s EP “Beautiful Ruin,” they received comments from Pinoy netizens who are having problems with their internet connection. Below is the Facebook post where people wrote their feedback on “their internet service”.

Clearly, they are on the wrong Facebook Page.
These comments were actually meant for an internet service provider in the Philippines of the same name. Although, with the number of people talking about the speed of their internet connection, the hardcore American band had to address it and make a statement.
Converge wrote:
Hey everyone… still just a hardcore band over here. Covid has not forced us to become an internet provider in the Philippines yet, but we hope everyone over there gets their internet access back.
