When In Manila and you’re in search for home staples that would be perfect for your house or office, Heima is the place to go! Just recently they opened their newest branch at Brixton Street, Kapitolyo.
The Brixton Block Party!
Yes, you’ve read that right! The famous store for quirky designs and custom-made furniture opened their new branch that would add a bustling scene for food, art, and wellness in the area. And just like their two other branches, Makati and Cubao, their new branch will offer something unique to Heima goers, the Design Café. It’s the new hub for collaborations between artists over a good cup of coffee.
Heima Brixton is a little bit spacey compared to their Cubao branch.
Of course at Heima Brixton you’ll expect to see the familiar, quirky furniture designs from Heima and its awesome service for custom-made furniture. I’ve been eyeing to get hold on one of their chairs! You’ll also be able to see more of the Paper Club line, which is chock-full of display-worthy wall art, washi tapes, magazines, books, and beautiful notecards that will make you go back to the art of writing letters.
The VIP party also paved way to the launch of Ang Nawawala, a movie entry in last year’s Cinemalaya, vinyl soundtrack. Key people from the movie like its Director, Marie Jamora, and cast member like the Roco twins were present for the said launch. Bands like Pulso, Hanna + Gabi with Outerhope, Pedicab and Tarsius played for the audience.
