For fans of ‘The Haunting of Hill House’, Mike Flanagan has announced that the second season of the show entitled ‘The Haunting of Bly Manor’ will be streaming on Netflix later this year. Flanagan tweeted about wrapping the new season on Twitter earlier this week:

While ‘Hill House’ was an adaptation of Shirly Jackson’s ‘The Haunting of Hill House’, ‘Bly Manor’ will be based on Henry James’ ‘The Turn of the Screw’, which revolves around a woman who works as a governess for two orphans. She then starts to see ghosts and suspects that the children’s behavior can be attributed to supernatural powers.
Some of the cast members of ‘Hill House’, including Henry Thomas, Victoria Pedretti, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, and Kate Siegel will be back for ‘Bly Manor’, as well.
