Hallmark’s The Search for the Master Wrapper: A Gift Wrapping Contest
The search is on for the MASTER WRAPPER! Do you have the skills to wrap any kind of gift? Then here’s a challenge for you! Show off a photo of your best gift wrapping idea for an odd-shaped gift using any Hallmark gift wrap, Hallmark gift tag and Hallmark ribbon. You might just win P30,000 CASH!
WHO CAN JOIN:
1. This contest is open to all residents of NCR and nearby provinces who can meet the qualification requirements and attend the contest on December 19, 2014 at Robinsons Magnolia.
2. Employees of Filstar Distributors Corporation, Jam 88.3, and Robinsons Malls including their relatives up to second degree of consanguinity are disqualified from joining the promotion.
HOW TO QUALIFY:
1. Like the Hallmark Philippines Facebook fan page.
2. Wrap an odd-shaped gift using any Hallmark gift wrap, Hallmark gift tag and Hallmark ribbon.
3. Take a photo of the finished product and upload on the Hallmark Philippines website (www.hallmarkphilippines.com).
– Hi-res jpeg and png file (at least 150 dpi) and not exceeding 2 MB are acceptable.
– Inappropriate and/or unrelated images or files will be subject for disqualification. 4. Complete all the required registration details.
5. Complete these steps until December 14, 2014 and you will receive a confirmation via e-mail, text message and registered mail that you are qualified to join the SEARCH FOR THE MASTER WRAPPER: A Gift Wrapping Contest Elimination Round on December 19 at Robinsons Magnolia Atrium.
6. Each submission is considered as an entry. Once confirmation is received, send a reply via email to confirm attendance on December 19, 2014.
7. Failure to follow the above qualifications, and uploading inappropriate or unrelated images or files will be subject for disqualification.
EVENT DAY MECHANICS:
1.Eliminations and finals of the SEARCH FOR THE MASTER WRAPPER: A Gift Wrapping Contest will be held on December 19 at Robinsons Magnolia Atrium, 1 PM.
2. Participants must present a valid ID and the notice from Hallmark Philippines to confirm their qualification to the elimination round.
3. During eliminations, participants will be given a special gift wrapping mission.
4. Five participants with the highest scores from the judges will qualify for the finals which will be held immediately after.
5. During finals, participants will also be given a special gift wrapping mission.
6. Participant with the highest score from the judges will be proclaimed as the winner and take home the grand prize.
7. Only materials provided by Hallmark may be used during the event. Otherwise, participant’s entry will be disqualified.
PRIZE:
1. Contest winner will take home the grand prize amounting to P30,000 CASH.
2. Announcement of winner and awarding of prize shall be done immediately after judging.
3. 20% tax for prizes exceeding P10,000 shall be shouldered by the winner.
JUDGING PROCESS(ELIMINATIONS AND FINALS:
- Contestants’ entries will be judged by representatives of Hallmark Philippines in the presence of a DTI representative. A DTI representative shall also be present during the judging of both eliminations and finals.
2. Criteria for judging:
Appearance of the wrapped gift – 40%
– overall visual appeal and personal touch
Technique used to wrap the gifts – 30%
– good color combination
– clean folds and cuts
– appropriate use of Hallmark products for each gift
Creative use of embellishments and Hallmark products – 30%
– ability to apply appropriate embellishments
– ability to use Hallmark gift wrapping items in a unique way
– innovativeness
TOTAL: 100% 3. Judges’ decision is final and not subject to any dispute.
