What makes this restaurant truly a standout is its advocacy for people with special needs. This is no surprise since its owner Chef Wijangco is also the founder of the Open Hand School for Applied Arts, a vocational school that has programs geared towards the mastery of entrepreneurship, academics, social and community skills to ensure that students can become independent members of society. The restaurant therefore also serves as a laboratory dedicated to providing employment opportunities to its students.

The restaurant’s menu boasts of global cuisine inspired by Wijangco’s travels. With an Asian, Mediterranean, Latin and American-inspired menu, her restaurant proves that you don’t have to travel far to enjoy culturally authentic cuisine. I tried some of their bestsellers and came up with a list of dishes that you should definitely check out!
