We Spotted GoTyme Bank’s Freedom Bus – and We Love the Message Behind It!

If you’ve been on the road in EDSA recently, you might have been lucky enough to spot GoTyme Bank’s Freedom Bus, a relaxing, spa-like experience on wheels that will help you breathe a little easier, just like how GoTyme Bank’s 20 free InstaPay transfers every single month will help you breathe a little easier!

GoTyme Bank is making everyday money movement completely free. No more 15-peso fees, no more “Pay One, Free One” promos. And this isn’t a temporary deal. It’s the new normal.

Every 1st of the month, your 20 free transfers automatically refresh, letting you send money to any bank or e-wallet without worrying about charges.

To celebrate, GoTyme Bank’s Freedom Bus treated commuters to relaxing P2P trips for two days from Antipolo to Makati and vice versa – and during rush hour to boot. It was the ultimate way to show what banking with GoTyme Bank feels like: free, easy, and completely taken care of.

On board GoTyme Bank’s Freedom Bus, friendly hosts welcomed commuters, guided them to their seats, and helped them get completely relaxed for the ride. All they had to do was sit back, unwind, and enjoy the journey. The hosts were also happy to answer any questions they had about GoTyme Bank. They could even open bank accounts at kiosks located close to where the buses stopped.

To really amp up the relaxation factor, a guru also facilitated a relaxation session during the trip using the complimentary Freedom Bus calm kit that was given to each passenger, which included hand sanitizer, an inhaler, a mini massager, a small watter bottle, an eye mask, a move free relaxation guide, and a free ticket for their next Freedom Bus ride. Best of all, everyone – even non-GoTyme Bank users – could ride the Freedom Bus for free, enjoy the music, kick back, relax, and get some complimentary GoTyme Bank merch.

Celebrity KOL Carla Abellana joined GoTyme Bank President and CEO Nate Clarke in riding with commuters on the first day of the event, while commuters were greeted by Lance Y. Gokongwei, Head of Gokongwei Group and President & CEO of JG Summit Holdings on the second day. Both Nate Clarke and Lance Gokongwei surprised passengers by handing out special tickets for another free ride, courtesy of GoTyme Bank.

“With the Freedom Bus, we’re giving you a taste of what banking with GoTyme Bank feels like: free, easy, and taken care of,” says Nate Clarke, President and CEO of GoTyme Bank. “Just like our 20 free InstaPay transfers every month, you can ride the Freedom Bus for free. We’re here to make your journey lighter, whether that’s moving your money without fees or helping you get home with a smile. It’s freedom you can ride, and freedom you can bank on.”
