She’s definitely beauty and brains: actress Yasmien Kurdi recently graduated college from Arellano University with a degree in political science. To top it off, she graduated magna cum laude!
The actress announced the news herself on her Instagram, where she posted her graduation photos. She captioned it with, “Finally ?? I am beyond grateful and humbled. All the hard work for many years in College paid off ? To all the working students, never stop reaching for your goals and dreams in life! Do your best all the time 🙂 Life is hard but you have to keep pushing forward. Feed your mind with positivity like ideas of success, not failure. Kurdi started her showbiz career as one of the finalists of the show Starstruck. Since then, she has appeared in Encantadia, Babangon Ako’t Dudurugin Kita, Saan Darating Ang Umaga?, Yagit, and Sa Piling ni Nanay. She has also released two albums, In the Name of Love and Love is All I Need.
Prior to political science, Kurdi also studied nursing and foreign service.
