Location is everything!
Ysla is located in Mambajao where the town center of the island is located. This area is also where some of the island’s best restaurants are found. The closest restaurants I would highly recommend are Checkpoint (buffet breakfast at only Php150 per head! Their bacon is a must-try!), Luna Ristorante, Casa Roca, and Paradiso Hillside (the first and the best Italian Pizza on the entire island!). Mambajao is also the usual jump-off point to the famous white Island of Camiguin. From Ysla, you can either rent a boat or rent Ysla’s speedboat to get to the White Island.
Ysla also has one of the best views of the Camiguin sunset. Grab a seat and a glass of mojito or a bottle of beer from their bar and you are all set for the evening. All that’s left to do as the sun sets is for you to just sit back, relax and enjoy the view.
