Giraffe Riddle: The Answer Behind Those Random Giraffe Profile Pictures on Facebook

 

When in Manila and surrounded by social media-obsessed people, then you have probably noticed a random influx of giraffe profile pictures on your Facebook timeline recently.

This definitely caught me off-guard, so I did a quick Google search to find out what the pictures are all about.

Apparently, if you cannot answer the Giraffe riddle or if you give the wrong answer to it, you have to use a picture of a giraffe as your profile picture for the next 3 days.

“It’s 3am. The doorbell rings and you wake up. Unexpected visitors are at the door. Your parents are there for breakfast. You have strawberry jam, honey, wine, bread and cheese. What is the first thing you open?”

 

This game was started by Andrew Strugnell from New Zealand, who apparently always comes up with games like this for his YouTube subscribers.

 

I don’t know about you, but I knew the answer right after I read the riddle for the first time… What about you? Are you a giraffe?
