This year’s Soirée is special because it features some brands that were founded during the pandemic and has very inspiring stories. These brands are proof that even in the toughest of times, creativity and resilience can thrive.
Soirée is no stranger to finding unique brands as they are also the brains behind Retail Lab which houses different homegrown labels in their stores at Powerplant Mall, Estancia, and Circuit Makati. Founders Rosanna Aranaz and Claud Baron-Paulino pride themselves in creating spaces for brands to introduce their products to the retail market and flourish.
“There were so many brands that have been founded in the past 3 years that we have grown to love and we’re so happy to bring them to you this November for Soirée”, shared Rosanna Aranaz.
This year’s Soirée will feature more than 170 merchants that offer unique gift items plus fashion, food, home, and lifestyle products.
“We were so inspired by all the brands that started during the lockdown. Many of the owners had lost their jobs during the pandemic so they created new ways of earning money by doing what they love like baking and making perfume,” said Claud Baron-Paulino.
Some of the brands that were founded during the pandemic are Dreambee Books which makes personalized children’s books that are great as gifts for your godchildren this holiday season. Another brand that people have loved for the past 3 years is The Kind Cookie. They make delicious chocolate chip cookies and a portion of their earnings go toward various communities who are in need of help.
Paint Polish, on the other hand, allows clients to create their own nail polish shade. Their products are safe for pregnant women and kids, cruelty-free and vegan-friendly. Handrafted perfumes are a specialty for Amara Parfum while Casa Juan offers beautiful Filipino-inspired tableware that is perfect for your Christmas celebrations.
