Popularized by the Japanese toy manufacturer Bandai, these coin-operated toy vending machines are big among locals and tourists for their wide range of prizes and collectibles, often in collaboration with trending anime, cartoon characters, and brands.
Well, we don’t need to travel far anymore to get our gashapon fix because an official gashapon store is soon to open in Mitsukoshi Mall, Bonifacio Global City!
Start-up architecture and design studio Tanhuanco+Andaluz surprised Filipinos on Facebook when they posted renders of the Gashapon Bandai Official Shop that will be located in the Japanese Mall. It will be 130.92 square meters big and is projected to consist of at least 300 capsule machines.
The Gashapon Store targets to open in November.
