This upcoming Filipino food variety show is the collaboration you didn’t see coming—but one that’s very much needed.

On March 6, TV5 finally released the teaser for “Kumusta,” an upcoming reality cooking show that merges Filipino and South Korean culture through food and community-building.
“TWO COUNTRIES. TWO CULTURES. THOUSANDS OF DISHES—ONE CULINARY ADVENTURE! The collaboration we’ve been waiting for—South Korea and the Philippines—is finally making its way to the stomachs of audiences across Asia!” the caption read.
In an Instagram post, JP Anglo shared that the upcoming reality show follows how they ran a Filipino restaurant for seven consecutive weeks.

“Kumusta” features talented Filipino actresses Jodi Sta. Maria, Janella Salvador, Arci Muñoz, and Francine Diaz as they take part in restaurant preparations and serve customers, while also spotlighting globally renowned Filipino chefs JP Anglo and Kim Yumol.
Furthermore, the teaser also gave fans a glimpse of Korean celebrities who will be participating in the show, including Ji Chang-wook, Kim Myung-soo, Kim Min-seok, and Seo In-guk. Korean celebrity chef Choi Hyun-seok, who gained global attention through the popular South Korean competition show “Culinary Class Wars” and the cooking variety program “Chef & My Fridge,” will also take part in the show.
The premiere date for “Kumusta” has yet to be announced. Stay tuned!
