Actress Bangs Garcia can now add painter to her resume, because she just revealed that she sold one of her paintings for P380,000.
The painting shows seven horses running towards the viewer. Garcia described it as “the most difficult piece I have ever painted in my life.”
She first posted the painting on Instagram with the caption:
Thanks to my mentor , Sir Art Dela Cruz for helping me finish this #HorsePainting. I’m slowly learning your techniques. Whew! Seriously, I had a hard time with the hair of these horses, haha. So far this is the most difficult piece I have ever painted in my life! And I had to spend 3-4hours on each of the horses’ face. Now ready for delivery!!! #Sold for P380k
Garcia has been painting since 2011, and has described the activity as something that helps her de-stress from her hectic showbiz schedule. In 2012, one of her paintings was sold for P150,000. There is no word who bought the two paintings.
