Mark Arjay Reyes and Sherra De Juan were supposed to tie the knot on December 14 in Quezon City. However, the much-anticipated wedding did not proceed as scheduled when the bride-to-be went missing four days before the wedding.

In a Facebook post on December 12, Mark appealed to the public, sharing that it had been three days since his fiancée had not come home. She was last seen at Petron Atherton, North Fairview, at around 1:00 PM, wearing an all-black attire. She also brought her tumbler and a coin purse as she went out, while leaving her phone at home to charge.
The fiancée was supposed to buy bridal shoes at Fairview Center Mall. However, as the family and the fiancé realized that hours had passed since she left, they began searching for her.
On December 13, the 31-year-old IT engineer announced that their wedding, which was scheduled to take place on December 14, was cancelled.
As the search continues, they are offering a P20,000 reward for reliable information that would help lead them to her whereabouts.
As the news of Sherra’s disappearance went viral and was picked up by numerous media outlets, her partner appealed to the public to be “kinder.”

“This trending news about my love’s disappearance will eventually fade, but the pain that I, my fiancée’s family, and her closest friends are feeling, we will continue to feel the longer she remains missing. Be kind. It’s free,” he wrote on a Facebook story.
“Do not use our situation for your personal gains. Please. Be human,” he added.
He also lamented his partner’s disappearance, wishing that they could celebrate her safe return.
“Ngayon, mas mahalaga na sakin na makita ka at safe ka kesa magwalk down the aisle or sabihin sayo yung prinepare kong vows. Mas icecelebrate namin if makikita ka naming safe kesa umattend sa wedding na di ka namin kasama. Naniniwala ako na we will still have our wedding day mahal ko Sarah De Juan. Uwi ka na please (Now, it is more important to me to see you and know that you are safe than to have you walk down the aisle or say the vows I prepared for you. We would celebrate more if we could see you safe than attend a wedding without you with us. I believe that we will still have our wedding day, my love Sherra De Juan. Please come home),” he wrote in a separate post.
