Tagaytay is everyone’s go-to place to escape from reality.
With its cool weather and awesome scenery, it’s impossible not to feel relaxed and pampered in the second summer capital of the Philippines.
Truthfully, Tagaytay offers heaps of exciting activities not only for a gastronomic adventure but also for pampering and meditating.
I rarely have “me time” but when I get the chance, it’s mandatory to visit Nail Files.

Contrary to what people say – that don’t go to the mall when you’re in Tagaytay – this place is definitely an exemption.
The shop is always packed. They’re always fully booked! I know because I had to go back several times.
So, make sure to call them first for an appointment.
Admittedly, all nail salons offer the same services: manicure, pedicure, foot scrub, foot spa, to name a few. I keep coming back to this branch because they have genuine hearts.
They take care of you and ask for your confirmation first. I appreciate that gesture because I rarely go to nail shops to have a pedicure. I’d rather do it myself than get hurt by uncertified manicurists. Thankfully, Ate Resty (all of them, actually) is certified and I didn’t feel anything at all!
One of my favorite shades: metallic blue-ish gray. You can have it as regular polish or gel.
Another reason why I love this place is they cater to everyone: kids, men, women, elders, anyone who wants to feel pampered without breaking your bank!
Now, the downside of writing a wonderful experience, especially if your weakness is relaxation and meditation, is by the time you’re done with the write-up, you’re already planning when to visit the place again.
