Here’s a look at the world-class dining experiences STB has on the menu:

An Appealing Serving of Content and Creator Partnerships

To discover how dining has been reimagined, STB has tied up with content creator Erwan Heussaff and food and travel video channel FEATR to offer Filipinos a fresh take on Singaporean food. As part of STB’s SingapoReimagine campaign, this series of videos highlights unique and lesser-known flavors and concepts to be enjoyed in Singapore.

“[What sets Singapore apart as a food destination compared to other countries in the region is] everything because everything is there… We were able to go to sixteen restaurants in our shooting week, which is impossible everywhere else. Singapore is such a great place to do that in such a short amount of time,” shared Erwan in an interview with WhenInManila.com.

As the series shows fresh and innovative culinary experiences, each episode offers new and unknown recommendations for all types of Filipino foodies to enjoy.

“I loved filming the hawker centers [the most], I didn’t realize how busy they are. [I] never really thought about the stories behind the food and it’s all family matters… because of that, it’s all very hands-on. It just showcased how important it is to keep that quality. Even though it is something they do every day, they have to keep it perfect,” Erwan continued.

Erwan also expressed how creating the series in collaboration with STB has changed his perspective on Singaporean food culture. “I never realized the family ties that come with food and culture. I just love how people there are happy where they are, but are constantly challenging themselves,” he said. “There is constant movement in the food and beverage industry. You’d think at that point, there would be no new bars, but every time I come back, there are ten new cocktail bars.”

Episode 1-4 are uploaded on FEATR’s YouTube and Facebook pages.

  • Episode 1 – Where Chefs Eat: Best Singapore Seafood Hawker Food with Chef Patrick Leano
  • Episode 2Where Chefs Eat: Best Singapore Seafood Hawker Food with Chef Bryan Bonifacio

  • Episode 4 – A Dessert Guide to Singapore with Erwan Heussaff

A Delectable Selection of Chef Collaborations

This year, STB has organized another series of chef collaborations which will bring together gastronomic visionaries from Singapore and The Philippines. One marquee activity is the return of the Asian Culinary Exchange (ACE) in partnership with Angelo Comsti. Originally founded in 2018, this year’s ACE puts the focus on Singapore through a range of cross-cultural collaborations between Singaporean and Filipino chefs with the aim of sharing and creating fresh culinary experiences.

Beyond ACE, Filipino foodies are in store for more culinary experiences prepared by Singaporean and Philippines-based chef and restaurant partnerships, including a visit from Odette, scheduled for November 2023.

Your Pick of Buzzworthy Cocktails at Singa-Pob

To give Filipinos a glimpse into the bar scene of Singapore’s Chinatown and City Hall, two neighborhoods populated by the country’s top cocktail bars, STB is organizing Singa-Pob – happening August 2023 in Poblacion, Makati.

The event is a two-weekend takeover of select establishments within Poblacion, Makati’s prime nightlife neighborhood, and will feature a diverse mix of drinks and libations from Singapore cocktail bars such as Employees Only, Republic, Sago House, The Elephant Room, Tippling Club, and many more.
