Fast-Food Chain Warns Against Individuals Allegedly Taking Credit For Free Breakfast Promo

Next Monday, McDonald’s is doing its annual National Breakfast Day Promo. For one hour on March 14, people can claim a free McMuffin. However, one politician is allegedly claiming to take credit for it.

McDonald’s Philippines’ Twitter page posted an advisory this afternoon, saying that the National Breakfast Day promo is solely McDonald’s own and is not sponsored by any organization or individual. It then posted a screenshot of the politician’s photo, which was allegedly taken from his Facebook page.

According to the politician’s alleged post:

 

Dahil mahal ko kayo LIBRE ko kayo ng mc muffin sa mc donalds sa March 14, 2016 basta simula 6 am hanggang 7 am sagot ko mc muffins nyo sa lahat ng mcdo outlet sa buong Pilipinas… Sabihin nyo lang pangalan ko… ganyan ko kayo kamahal… save the date! Kita kits tayo para sa libre kong paalmusal… 6 to 7 am lang ha… agahan nyo mga ka fb!
