Our newest Darna is reportedly the Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano.
The Philippine Star was the first to break out the news. Celebrity columnist Ricky Lo was apparently given the inside information, and if all goes according to plan, Liza will be flying as Darna in the movie to be directed by Erik Matti.
The actress, who has also gotten the attention of international celebrities many times in her career, is reportedly under training for the role at the moment.
Fans of both Darna and Liza had mixed emotions. Some say that she’s too sweet to become a crime-fighting superhero. Others say that she’s the perfect actress for the role.
