After announcing Ross Butler’s departure from The CW’s Riverdale, the show, too, has officially announced just earlier that Charles Menton will be replacing him in playing Reggie Mantle.
Ross confirms his departure by tweeting this scene of Betty, Polly and Veronica, dressed up in the Vixen cheerleading uniform, encountering Reggie in the Riverdale High hallways.

The executive producer of ‘Riverdale’, Roberto Aguirre – Sacasa has stated that next season, they wanted “more Reggie on our show”, so Butler could not longer commit as he also plays a major role in another Netflix original series, ’13 Reasons Why’.
The actresses included in the scene – Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes and Tiera Skovbye have also posted the deleted scene on their social media accounts.
