Ellesse Sportswear: Look Downright ‘Smashing’ Everyday
When in Manila, there has always been a ‘love’ (zero points in a tennis game)-hate relationship between fashionable and reasonable sportswear because of the limitations involved. When I was in elementary school, I used to play tennis everyday after school. Unfortunately, being the dork I was, all I had on were my baggy shorts (the kind you’d see on little boys nowadays) and loose shirts… oh, and my baseball cap, to ace my tomboy-ish look.
But then, nowadays, our world has ‘chipped’ (block a shot with backspin) through the barrier of unstylish sportswear. We now have Ellesse!
As you can see, these models have it all figured out. They have gone ‘crosscourt’ (hitting the tennis ball diagonally into the opponent’s court) and look insanely stunning in Ellesse’s new sportswear collections: Pastel, Black and White and Heritage.
And just like this post, their store was decorated with adorable little flashcards that had tennis slang words to keep the customers in the loop while browsing through Ellesse’s ‘grand slam’ (any one of the four most prestigious tennis tournaments including the Australian Open, the French Open, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open.) of a sportswear collection.
