Eastwood Richmonde Hotel: The Best Hotel in Quezon City to Spend the Holidays
I find it quite odd for Quezon City, the biggest city in Metro Manila and the city where I live in to have very few decent hotels. I noticed that whenever I’m asked about my recommended hotel in my own city, I couldn’t really name any as I try not to name establishments which I’ve never tried myself. So this year, we’ll do our best to find and recommend the best places to stay when you’re in Quezon City! =)
For this week, let us take you to Eastwood City and give you a quick photo tour about the only hotel in Eastwood that has been capturing the hearts of locals and tourists since it opened…. Eastwood Richmonde Hotel.
I must admit that I’ve been a stranger to Eastwood City for the longest time because it seemed too far and difficult to reach via commute. It was during my first visit at Detoxify Bar last November where I discovered this grand looking hotel right at the heart of Eastwood City. I was like, “Wow! May hotel pala dito?” All along, I thought all hotels in QC were either in Cubao area or Morato.
When I told Frank about the news, it didn’t take him long to say yes, so we immediately decided to try it out before the year ended since it was relatively near to where we live.
There’s definitely so much to love about Eastwood Richmonde Hotel. I can’t believe that a world class hotel in Quezon City actually exists!
Our Room:
First thing we noticed upon entering our room was that it looked big compared to other deluxe rooms which we experienced in other hotels in the past. We loved it a lot as we felt more at home and very comfortable. I just love everything about it!
It had a mini sofa, extra cabinets and we were even surprised to see a videoke ready player! We should have brought our mics! lols
We had everything we needed within reach. Great to know they even provide a tv channel guide! I wish all hotels would have this as well!
Our bathroom was equally spacious and chic. It may not have a bidet system but it had a hair dryer and even a weighing scale! Their hair dryer was branded unlike other hotels who have generic wall mounted ones.
Our room even had this great sunset view =)
After settling our bags, we decided to go down and have snacks at their lobby lounge.
Their lounge looked so inviting and festive with all the lights and decorations.
Inside the gingerbread house were countless Christmas treats of all sorts!
They had their homemade goodies and best sellers on display…
We ordered tea, coffee and the desserts which they recommended…
The Food:
Since we already started posting food shots, might as well tell you more about the satisfying food at Eastwood Richmonde Hotel.
We remember having memorable meals at Eastwood Cafe especially with the breakfast buffet which we found super comforting and satisfying! The restaurant staff deserve much praise!
We discovered that Eastwood Cafe‘s Executive Chef, Mr Pat Obia is famous for his very own version of the Cebu Lechon…
Their Mongolian station at the buffet is also a MUST TRY!
We also had an unforgettable dinner experience during our stay when we requested our dinner to be sent in our room. We love breakfasts in bed, but it was here when we realized having dinner in bed was equally pleasurable! =)
