DOH confirms more COVID-19 cases in the Philippines

The Department of Health (DOH) just reported 11 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 on their official Facebook Page this afternoon. Later on, they clarified in their Press Conference at the DOH Main Office, San Lazaro St., Sta. Cruz, Manila today (March 10, 2020) that there are only 9 and not 11.

The Department of Health (DOH) provides updates on the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) in the country as it holds a press conference at the DOH Main Office in the City of Manila on March 10, 2020.The Philippines is currently in a ‘State of Public Health Emergency’ with the issuance of Proclamation Number 922 last March 8, 2020.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Philippines as of writing is 33 (not 35).
