Actress Jennica Garcia’s recent post on Instagram is once again fueling rumors that she had officially gone separate ways with her husband Alwyn Uytingco.
Last month, rumors began when followers discovered that she had deleted photos of Alwyn from her social media account and asked for help on how to change her username, which included her husband’s last name.
On Wednesday, April 7, she then wrote a heartfelt letter addressed to her two daughters which insinuated that there will be a major change in the household–something she did not foresee her children ever experiencing growing up.
“Athena and Severina, know that Nanay has no regrets,” she began in her letter. “Yes, I get scared when I think about the coming months and years because this is not how I planned the two of you to grow up.”
“But despite the heartache I am going through, I am able to keep the Joy in my heart and will continue to praise God with every cry because even if my plans have failed, I know that our loving Father’s plan for us is always good. His decision to allow this to happen in our life is not to destroy us. Never to destroy us mga anak. Instead of sadness, [let’s] rejoice because God is close to the brokenhearted.”
She still has yet to confirm the news of their separation. In a particular post, however, she did talk about how a certain person in our lives whom “we love the most” can have “a change of heart” and that she is “looking forward to a new life” in God’s own timeline.
“In life, it is natural for us to expect protection from someone we love the most. When the time comes, that person has a change of heart and we find ourselves all on our own. We crumble. We die inside,” she wrote. “But in those moments I want you and me to remember one thing. YOU, ARE NEVER ALONE IN LIFE BECAUSE YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD.”
Jennica and Alwyn married in February 2014.
