Sakay Bicol Express
What’s in it?
This Filipino fave is given an intriguing twist at Dekada. Instead of having pork cooked in the spicy gata-based bicol express sauce, you get a hearty serving of crispy pork liempo with the spicy sauce on the side for dipping.
Why is it awesome?
Can be had two ways: you can order the traditional dish or you can have it with Dekada’s modern twist, which is crispy lechon kawali with a pumped-up version of Bicol express sauce on the side.
Rizal Lechon Manok
What’s in it?
The Filipino version of roast chicken, but instead of the usual herbs, they use pandan leaves and lemon grass and finest selected Pinoy spices.
Why is it awesome?
Crispy skin and tasty meat with a distinct flavour of lemon grass. Could be a tad more moist, but it’s not actually arid and still quite savory.
