Daniel Padilla made waves on social media for cursing while belting out Rivermaya’s “Hinahanap-Hanap Kita” during his recent birthday celebration in Tanauan, Batangas.

As seen in the video posted by one of the attendees, Ted Padilla Evangelista, on Facebook, he performed song numbers with a band to entertain his guests.
In his performance of the OPM hit song, he tweaked some lyrics and added a monologue.
“Ang ating ending, hinatid sa bahay niyo. Sabay ‘good night’—ito yun oh—walang kiss. Sabay ‘bye-bye,’” he sang.

The Kapamilya actor also sang his heart out during the song’s spoken bridge about a former lover finding someone else and then cursed, where he said, “Pati lupang pinagsamahan mukha yatang nilimot na ng puso mong biglang lumisan at pu******* may kapiling nang iba.”

The video circulated on social media, mainly on TikTok. Some netizens speculated if he was alluding to his ex-girlfriend, Kathryn Bernardo, who has been linked to Alden Richards. The two stars sparked dating rumors after being seen together at “A Very Good Girl” actress’ 28th birthday celebration and house blessing.
Daniel turned 29 on April 26. Prior to his birthday celebration with family and friends, he held a pre-birthday celebration at the Center for Health Improvement and Life Development (CHILD Haus), a shelter for children battling cancer, and an animal shelter in Pampanga.
In November 2023, Daniel and Kathryn announced their breakup.
