Couple Posts Nude Photos on Stolen Phone in Boracay

About a year ago, we posted a story regarding someone posting selfies on a stolen phone from a volunteer who was helping victims of the Typhoon Yolanda in the Villamor Airbase. The one who got the phone later took selfies, which were automatically uploaded to the phone owner’s Dropbox account. An update of that story can be found here.

Today, we heard of an almost similar case, but this time it’s of a stolen phone in Boracay.

Allegedly, a couple got ahold of a stolen phone and has been taking photos of them since, where some are even nude photos. The phone is backed up on the phone owner’s e-mail account so the photos they take were automatically sent on the e-mail.

Here’s the full story from the phone owner:

Kung sino man nakatira or nakastay sa Boracay ngayon, baka pwede nyo kaming matulungan. Magbibigay kami kahit konting pabuya sa makakakita sa kanila.

Pakikalat at pakishare na lang po. Salamat.

Rough translation:

These are the ones who got our cellphone (when we lost it) in Boracay. The cellphone is an HTC One and until now they are still using the same number. They even managed to take photos and some are even in nude. We begged them to return the cellphone in exchange of 10K but they didn’t even flinch and it seems that they are even annoying us. Whoever knows these people, please report them back so that our cellphone can be returned because there are many important filed saved in it.

It seems that they don’t know that some of the files in the cellphone are backed up on our email and the photos they take are automatically sent on our GMail account. Whoever is in Boracay right now, maybe you can help us. We would gladly give a small reward in return.

Please spread and share this. Thank you!
