Happening on December 17, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Emilio T. Yap Auditorium, College of Pharmacy, University of the Philippines Manila, this free-entry event invites students, professionals, and beauty enthusiasts to explore the ever-evolving world of cosmetics, celebrating it as both art and science.
Participants may also join the celebration virtually via Facebook Live. Even without a face-to-face talk slot, booths, product exhibits, and exclusive merchandise will remain available onsite, ensuring that the spectrum of beauty and science is accessible to all.
The Cosmetics Convention is an annual event organized by fifth-year BS Pharmaceutical Sciences students of the College of Pharmacy at the University of the Philippines Manila. Over the years, it has become a platform that unites students, professionals, and beauty enthusiasts to exchange knowledge, explore emerging trends, and appreciate the scientific and artistic aspects of cosmetics. Highlighting the intersection between science and beauty, the convention emphasizes that cosmetics go beyond aesthetics, serving as essential tools for self-expression and well-being.
This year’s convention draws inspiration from the play of colors in iridescence, symbolizing the diverse and ever-changing nature of beauty. CosmeCon 2025 features engaging talks that explore the many facets of beauty, hands-on workshops that help participants refine their skills, and interactive booths showcasing brands alongside product exhibits created by the fifth-year students. Through these experiences, participants can explore how cosmetics intersect with lifestyle, health, and identity.
