Commune : Great Filipino Food In The Heart of Makati

The Cesar Salad is Romaine lettuce with tinapa flakes and salted egg. My friend was supposed to share this with her hubby but she ended eating most of it and leaving only a bite for him.

Daing na Bangus was particularly very meaty. It comes with steamed white rice and atchara. It’s also nice to know that red, garlic and adobo rice upgrades are also available.

The Beef Tapa is definitely the best I have tasted. It’s soft, tasty and comes with native chicken egg (thats why the yellow has that rich color). This one you definitely have to try out.

Sinampalukang Manok is equally good as well.  Now you know where to go to when you suddenly crave comfort food in the middle of work.

While we were talking, we also found out that Ros’ grandfather was into Jeep restoration – the ones from the war. He had his book on display on one of the shelves too which made for a good conversation piece.

I had one of their bestselling sandwiches – Rosemary Herb Chicken – which was grilled rosemary chicken fillet on malunggay wheat bread.

And something else out of the ordinary was the Sigarilyas sa Gata – not only did it really have that home-cooked goodness to it – but having it in a cafe as nice as Commune is not very common and that just nailed the whole experience.
