And the coffee was again instagram-ready.
I love coffee. I’m an addict. I could taste any kind of coffee out there, including the cat-poo ones (Alamid). And that afternoon (it turned to afternoon from all the good chat), Ros showed us how drip coffee is made.
Drip brewing, is a method which involves pouring water over roasted, ground coffee beans contained in a filter. Water seeps through the ground coffee, absorbing its oils and essences, then passes through the bottom of the filter.
It’s a pretty interesting way of preparing coffee that results to a light-bodied but caffeine-packed after-meal drink.
That coffee and apple pie was a good combination. The rest of the afternoon was spent talking little bit more and sorts.
Now that was one good Pinoy food experience.
If you want to enjoy great Filipino food, with the chillness of a cafe, this is one place to check out and regularly go to. It’s also a cafe bar, so that’s perfect for after-work unwinding. We almost had beer that afternoon but maybe we’ll do that on one of our next visits.
They also offer their space to be rented for functions like workshops, meetings or any kind of ย commune. And their lighting is good – photographer point of view – because of all those windows, there’s a lot of nice light coming in to make your event picturesque and easy to capture. I was already thinking of shooting a prenup here the moment I walked in.
When In Manila, good food is always enjoyed over a good commune.
