Coffee Plz Festival Brings Beans, Matcha, and Music to San Juan This July

Something exciting is brewing in San Juan. This July, we’re inviting everyone—from casual café hoppers to home brewing enthusiasts—to come together for the very first Coffee Plz, a two-day festival dedicated to coffee, matcha, music, and the vibrant culture that surrounds them.

Set inside The Corner House, Coffee Plz is your chance to explore, taste, and connect with the people and stories behind every cup. Whether you’re here for the beans, the buzz, or the beats, this is a weekend built for flavor and community.

Here’s what’s brewing:

The Bean Market – Discover 16 of the country’s top local coffee roasters all in one place. From crowd favorites like The Good Cup Coffee Co. (Cebu), Hometown Cafe (Subic), and Bodega Coffee Roasters (Quezon Province), to new finds you’ll want to follow, come sip, shop, and chat with the roasters themselves.
International Roasters Village – For the first time in Manila, get a taste of exclusive coffees from Japan and South Korea. Don’t miss Filter Supply (Fukuoka), Acid Coffee (Tokyo), and Life and Coffee (Okayama)—all brewing on site, no passport required.
Home Brew Coffee Merchants – Looking to level up your home setup? Browse gear and accessories from De’Longhi, Loveramics, Cafec Philippines, Oatbedient, and Standard Supply Studios. Whether you’re new to home brewing or a seasoned pro, you’ll find something to up your coffee game.
Matcha Lane – Matcha lovers, this one’s for you. Discover small-batch matcha producers from Manila serving up their signature blends and bottled creations.
The Philippine AeroPress Championship (July 12) – Who will win the title and represent the Philippines in Seoul this December? Come watch the country’s top brewers go head-to-head in this high-energy coffee showdown, organized by Yardstick Coffee.
Hospitality Heroes (July 13) – A series of heartfelt talks from industry leaders on the magic and messiness of hospitality, and what it means to serve with purpose. Featuring three guest speakers you won’t want to miss.
Live Music All Weekend – Unwind with Humm, a lineup of live performances curated by Jacob’s Well Chai: shape/shift, KRN_N, Teo Esguerra x Hala, Man!, Pet School, Anbe, and Benito. Watch out for a special guest band playing at 8PM on July 12—follow @coffeeplz.world for the reveal.
