C/Krismusmos: Bringing Hope and Letting the Kids Shine Bright this Christmas!
The start of last month of the year — when the breeze turns chilly and the pages of the planner get thinner by the day. Indeed the season of giving is fast approaching. The holiday season makes its way to be felt, as we look forward to opening gifts and reunite with those who are dear to us, the Christmas spirit heeds a call waiting to be responded to. Christmas calls for us to share what we can to those who receive so little. Extending a hand of thanksgiving for the year that was, Musmos Ateneo makes its way to share the Christmas spirit with the urban poor kids of Katipunan and Cubao. As we share our own stories of love and hope this Christmas season, Musmos Ateneo highlights the stories that need to be heard – the stories of our little kids.
C/Krismusmos is an annual celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ with our Musmos kids. C/Krismusmos event showcases the talents of our kids through various performances and specialized activities. This year’s C/Krismusmos entitled “Kutitap” or sparkle provides as an avenue for the kids to shine the brightest, helping them realize that every kid deserves to be happy during Christmas. Because where there are children smiling, there is hope.
C/Krismusmos “Kutitap” is on December 8, 2013 (Sunday) at the Ateneo de Manila University.
