City of Dreams Macau: The Best Places to Eat, Drink, and Enjoy

1. The Tasting Room

I saved The Tasting Room for last, not necessarily because it is the best one (it’s hard to choose a ‘best’ one because all of the restaurants in City of Dreams Macau are amazing), but because it was the one that really left a mark on me.

The minute I walked in and despite the fact that I was completely underdressed for dinner here, I felt at home. See, growing up in Europe, I had to attend a lot of formal events and functions with my dad and The Tasting Room transported me back to those days when I felt most at home.

I am proud to say that all of those wine glasses were not just for show. We used every single one of them – and then some. 😉

The view was amazing, too. It’s too bad I wasn’t able to take a good photo of it, but walking around The Tasting Room, you’ll be able to get a stunning view of Macau and what it has to offer.

Now, onto the food… If you have never experienced or seen ‘food art’, then The Tasting Room can change your world. I swear: you have never seen food quite like the food found at The Tasting Room.

That gold leaf is totally edible. Eat gold for luck! (That’s not an actual saying. I made that up.)

What made it different? It came with a scoop of onion ice cream. Sounds weird, but the hot-and-coldness of this dish made it unforgettable!

The Tasting Room’s signature dessert that will stay in my memory forever – unless City of Dreams Manila decides to bring The Tasting Room here? 😉

Another thing that made me feel at home at The Tasting Room? Most of their staff consisted of Filipinos. Represent! Haha.

The Tasting Room is located at Level 3 of The Crown Towers.

Ahhh. All of that talk about food has gotten me hungry. After tasting all of that delicious food at City of Dreams Macau, City of Dreams Manila really has to step up their game now. Haha. With all of the hype going on about it, though, I’m very sure that they will. What is excited!!!
