Chris Hemsworth got larger than ever for the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film. “It came from boredom, sitting in COVID lockdown was like a prison,” Hemsworth told USA Today. “It was train-eat, train-eat. Nothing else to do. Then I turned up for the film bigger than I’ve ever been.”

“Thor: Ragnarok” and “Thor: Love and Thunder” director Taika Waititi also noted, “He’s huge already, but when I saw his arms, they were twice as big as normal, as wide as my head.” Apparently, he was also asked by people how Hemsworth does it, “But it’s all-natural,” he said.

In the same interview, he revealed that his wife had an unexpected reaction to his physique in the Thor sequel.

“My wife was like, ‘Bleh, it’s too much,'” the Thor star announced. He continued, “There are a lot of my male friends who are like, ‘Yeah!’ but a lot of female friends and family are like, ‘Yuck.'”

Pataky also made a cameo early in her husband’s film as a Wolf Woman who Thor kisses on a wolf. They have been married since 2010.
