What makes a restaurant’s cheeseburger the “best”? To us, it’s got to have that meaty patty, soft bun, and ooey-gooey cheese that’s sinfully delicious! We asked our WhenInManila.com readers to tell us what their favorite cheeseburgers are in Metro Manila—here are their answers!

1. Raging Bull Burgers

Raging Bull Burgers which is a homegrown brand by Shangri-La The Fort is known best for its delicious patties which are made from choice cuts of brisket, rump, and wagyu, all marinated in an original seasoning mix. Ground daily, the beef comes from the best Australian and American beef cuts with a focus on high-quality grain-fed and grass-fed beef. They are then chargrilled and topped with locally sourced fresh produce and a special secret sauce created in-house by the restaurant’s chefs.

When we think of burgers, Sweet Ecstasy will never fail to cross our minds. They truly have made their mark in the local food scene with their menu of juicy, delicious, and affordable burgers! 3. Hungry Homies

A burger brand that has been making waves since 2020, Hungry Homies offers the ultimate comfort food that you will surely keep on ordering! A must-try is their Hypebeef, which is one of the classic cheeseburgers you can get from them. It is a Cali-style cheeseburger with a smashed beef patty, caramelized onions, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, American cheese, and the Hungry Homies secret sauce, all served in a soft brioche bun. 7. Bored & Hungry

Bored & Hungry just popped up one day in Makati City and, after attracting long queues of hungry customers every day, it decided to keep its spot in Power Plant Mall permanently! This US-based burger joint earned the title of “America’s Best Burger” with smashed patties that won Good Morning America’s Best Burger Competition. Margarita’s Quesadillas + Burgers is a restaurant based in Novaliches, Quezon City offering a variety of Mexican comfort food at affordable prices! They sell simple yet satisfying burgers on their menu, including the Premium Classic Cheese Burger. Pair it with a side of nachos or quesadillas!

15. Goodfull Burgers

They may not be as humungous as the burgers from international fast-food chains, but Goodfull‘s burgers are not to be underestimated! They’re packed with so much flavor and very much deserving of being called one of the best in Metro Manila.
