The contestants for the Century Tuna Superbods Nat10n 2016 definitely got to beat the summer heat with a mix of beauty, brains, and brawn. The prefinals weekend held last April 2-3, 2016 at the BGC Ampitheatre showcased Century Tuna’s finest and sexiest ambassadors of healthy living.The Superbods finalists had a showcase of their strength in the first challenge which involved a series of physical activities. Kettlebells, repetitive killer burpees, and big barbells all attest to the fact that strong is the new sexy!

This was followed by a mental challenge which was orchestrated on site with the help of Breakout Philippines.

The makeshift escape room was created for the participants who were divided into two teams. They were given 20 minutes to solve riddles of clues which required their mathematical and science prowess. It just goes to show that it takes more than a beautiful body to be Century Tuna Superbod-worthy.

After the physical and mental work of the first two challenges, the third challenge was a cook off using the famous Century Tuna products.

The final outputs were judged based on taste, health value, plating appeal, and adequacy of serving size. There were ten consumer judges who ranked which pair had the best prepared meal.

After a short break, the participants braced themselves for the final leg of the weekend competition: the intense Zorb combat challenge. It was a heart-stopping best of five competition.

In addition to the ultra fun Zorb challenge, the participants also had the chance to do back flips and front flips for additional individual points in the giant trampoline. While some of them struggled, a handful of them hit impressive records by doing as much as 34 flips in a single minute!

The audience stayed throughout the competition to root for their favorite Superbod contestants and the energy of the prefinals weekend was sustained by the super fun hosts of the event.

The strongest and the brightest of them all are still in the running, and the final winning moments for the 2016 Century Tuna Superbods will be held this April 10, 2016. Only a single pair will remain as the ultimate winners of this intense competition.
