Catriona Gray raises funds for feeding program in Tondo

As the COVID-19 virus continues to spread, many families are struggling to get by. With many jobs imposing a “no work, no pay” policy, some are left to rely on other people’s generosity to survive.

With this, former Miss Universe Catriona Gray takes it to Instagram to help raise funds for a feeding program in Tondo. In a video that she posted on Instagram, she says that a lot of these families are heavily dependent on their work. With the crisis that we are facing right now, many families don’t have food on their table.

She appeals to those people who may have a little bit of extra to share. Together with her partner advocacy group Young Focus, the feeding program aims to distribute one 15kg bag of rice to 1,000 families living in the Smokey Mountain area.
