As September draws near, fans’ anticipation surrounding the “Hamilton” premiere in Manila only grows stronger. The award-winning, Broadway hit musical is going on an international tour, with Manila being its first stop in Asia.
Production company GMG, who is bringing the beloved musical to Manila, also revealed the cast on its social media. Actors from Hamilton’s productions around the world—Broadway, West End, Australia, Germany, and North American Tours—will be joining the Hamilton International Tour, including Philippines’ very own Rachelle Ann Go, who originated the role of Eliza Hamilton at London’s West End. And now, she gets to reprise the iconic role and perform in her motherland.

Hamilton Manila premieres on September 17, 2023 at The Theatre at Solaire and will be running for a strictly limited season.
Hamilton is a groundbreaking musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda, which premiered in 2015 in Broadway. It reimagines American history through hip-hop, R&B, and diverse musical styles. The show follows Alexander Hamilton’s journey, from a penniless immigrant to a key figure in the American Revolution and politics. Its innovative storytelling and cultural impact earned it widespread acclaim. Hamilton has won numerous awards, including a Tony®, Grammy®, Olivier and Pulitzer Prize.
