Here are the Cast Members of the Korean Adaptation of ‘Money Heist’ So Far

In December, Netflix revealed that the much-loved Spanish series ‘La Casa de Papel’ (or ‘Money Heist’) would be getting a Korean adaptation, which is set to have 12 episodes and aims to breathe new life into the familiar storyline and bring the material afresh to global audiences. As for the cast members? They’re slowly being revealed.

Jang Yoon ju

According to Chosun Ilbo, model and actor Jang Yoon-ju has been cast as the stunning Nairobi.

Yoo Ji tae

Yoo Ji-tae has reportedly been cast as the mastermind of the heist, The Professor.

Park Hae soo

After Park Hae-joon dropped out of the project, it has been reported that Park Hae-soo might be replacing him in the role of Berlin.

Jeon Jong seo

Jeon Jong-seo has reportedly been cast as Tokyo, also the narrator of the series.

Yunjin Kim

Film and theater actress Yunjin Kim has reportedly been cast as Raquel Murillo.

Set on the Korean peninsula, the Korean adaptation of ‘Money Heist’ will be directed by Kim Hong-sun, who has helmed TV dramas like ‘The Guest’, ‘Voice’, and ‘Black’, and is known as a giant in the fantasy crime genre. Ryu Yong-jae and his team, whose credits include the Netflix original series ‘My Holo Love’ and tvN series ‘Psychopath Diary’, will be the screenwriters for the show. The production is a collaboration between BH Entertainment and Contents Zium.
