After weeks of being rumored to be dating young actress Charlie Dizon, Carlo Aquino has come forward to confirm the news.
It was during an interview with entertainment journalist MJ Felipe that the 37-year-old star confessed that he is indeed going out with Charlie and that he took her to La Union to spend New Year’s Eve with his family.
“Yes,” Carlo told MJ when asked if they were dating. “Getting to know.”
“Nagkasama kami sa ‘A Soldier’s Heart,’ nagkakilala kami doon. Tapos nag-US tour, mas nakilala ko siya. Tapos, pag-uwi, ‘yun, [tuluy-tuloy na],” he added.

The couple sparked relationship rumors over the holidays when Charlie, 26, posted pictures of them hanging out with friends with their arms evidently interlocked. Later, photos of them eating at a restaurant in La Union with Carlo’s family surfaced online.
They are currently working on a movie titled “Love on a Budget” which is being produced by Black Sheep, the same production company behind Carlo’s 2019 film “Isa Pa With Feelings” and Charlie’s MMFF 2020 movie “Fangirl.”
Carlo’s last known relationship was with Trina Candaza, with whom he shares a daughter named Enola Mithi.
