In a recent interview with GMA’s Nelson Canlas, Carla Abellana was asked about her feelings towards her ex-husband, Tom Rodriguez. The estranged couple married in a grand wedding ceremony back in October 2021.

“Are you still in pain?” The news anchor asked. To which Abellana replied, “oo, definitely. I won’t even hesitate to answer yes, definitely.” She explained, “ang pain kasi doesn’t disappear overnight.”
“I recognize it enough na nandiyan pa,” she added. “Ayoko namang sabihing ‘wala’ kasi hindi rin totoo ‘yon.”
The GMA star also admitted that the divorce still hasn’t sunk into her. “Siguro doon pa siya magsisink in sa akin ‘pag ‘yong, dito na naproseso or dito na naasikaso at narecognize na siya ng Philippine court,” she claimed.
When asked if Rodriguez had reached out to her, she quickly answered “no” and expounded, “the last time nakita ko siya was in February but since then, no.”
Canlas didn’t hold back by questioning if Carla still has a love for Tom. “Oh my gosh,” she reacted. “Whoa, hot seat ito.”

“Honestly, hindi ko masasagot na ‘yes’ or ‘no’,” she continued. “Like I said, yung love naman hindi siya nagdi-disappear o hindi mo nababawasan ng kusa.”
Carla also revealed that she will not be picking up the phone if ever Tom calls her. “Hindi ko kakayaning kausapin siya,” she told Nelson.
Despite everything she had gone through, she says she’s grateful for all the support she has received from her friends and family.
