Five months after PBB Collab 2.0 first aired, Caprice now stands tall as the show’s Kapuso Big Winner, proving that a little compassion and sincerity can go a long way. On February 28, 2026, she couldn’t contain her tears of joy as she looked back on her once-in-a-lifetime journey at the Big Night, where she shared the stage with her loved ones and fellow Gen Z celebrity housemates.
Caprice’s PBB journey may have come to an end, but this is only the beginning of her steady rise to stardom. Her winning moment is a symbol of hope and inspiration for future generations to lead with grace, nurture their dreams against all odds, and make the most out of every day.

An Early Start in Show Business

Caprice first entered the entertainment world at the tender age of five. Her onscreen debut in Barber’s Tales, Jun Robles Lana’s critically acclaimed drama from 2013, kick-started her career and opened many doors for her in the following years.
Her filmography as a child actress also includes various characters in teleseryes such as Wish I May (2016), Kambal Karibal (2017), and Prima Donnas (2019), among many others.
Caprice even contributed to the phenomenal “AlDub” craze throughout the late 2010s. She dropped by the Kalyeserye segment on Eat Bulaga, joining Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza (who went by “Yaya Dub” on the show) as the fictional couple’s daughter. Not long after, Caprice landed a role in the 2017 horror-comedy film Trip Ubusan: The Lolas vs. Zombies, where she braved a deadly apocalypse with Ryzza Mae Dizon and the rest of the Kalyeserye ensemble.

The fast-paced world of show business, or showbiz, can get overwhelming pretty quickly, especially for young actors in the spotlight. Luckily, Caprice has already worked with award-winning veteran artists who’ve inspired her to find her footing in the industry.
On the 2016 show Alyas Robin Hood, Caprice starred in several scenes alongside Dingdong Dantes, who even taught her how to use a bow and arrow. And in her more recent project, the 2025 family drama Cruz vs. Cruz, she played the daughter of “Primera Kontrabida” Gladys Reyes.
No matter what Caprice chooses to pursue next as an emerging actress, it’s safe to say that her co-stars will always take pride in witnessing her grow and blossom into the talented and kind-hearted young woman we know and love today.
Taking on the World in Full Bloom
PBB Collab 2.0 was nothing short of a breakthrough for Caprice, and we’re certain that her new fans from all over the country can attest to that. She now dutifully embodies and represents today’s kabataang Pinoy with utmost gratitude, having grown tremendously from her humble beginnings as a child actress.
Despite the hardships she faced and the tears she shed, Caprice’s perseverance prevailed through every conquered challenge and task.
Just like her fellow housemates, viewers got to know Caprice on a deeper level throughout the reality show’s run. Her admirable perspectives shone even more in the moments she spent with her loved ones—especially her father, esteemed chef and restaurateur Jorge Mendez, who made headlines last month for his selfless Valentine’s gesture.
In true Big Winner fashion, Caprice never forgets to thank and include her family in all her blessings and accomplishments. When asked about her plans moving forward, she didn’t hesitate to share her interest in helping kids in need. She also considered donating to the Little Ark Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports underprivileged Filipino children battling critical illnesses.
As for Caprice’s next chapter, fans can expect a new show in the works called Pangarap na Ginto. She’ll star opposite Heath Jornales, the Kapuso Second Big Placer of PBB Collab 2.0 and the other half of their endearing pairing, “CapEath.”
