Byeon Woo-seok is definitely booked and busy, as he’s set to lead a new Korean live-action series on Netflix.

On July 10, Netflix announced that the popular Korean actor was cast as the lead in the live-action adaptation of the Korean web novel.
“He won’t be solo if I have anything to say about it,” it wrote. “Byeon Woo-seok stars as Sung Jin-woo in the upcoming live-action adaptation of Solo Leveling, only on Netflix!”
Solo Leveling is a South Korean fantasy web novel that centers on hunters—human warriors with supernatural powers—who must fight deadly monsters to protect humanity. The story follows Sung Jin-woo, a low-ranking hunter who unexpectedly acquires extraordinary abilities after a near-death encounter.
More details, such as cast members and premiere date, are yet to be announced.
However, there’s so much more to look forward to from the rising Korean star. Following the success of his lead performance in Lovely Runner, he is set to headline the upcoming romance drama Wife of a 21st Century Prince alongside IU.
Moreover, he is set to reunite with Filipino fans for the “DAYDREAMIN” fan meeting in Manila on July 19 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
