“Mabuti pa tong burger, hindi complicated” #hugotpamore
I’m not really much of a burger fan, but since I tasted the Bleu Cheese Burger and Churros at Burger Pub….. Oh My! I became an instant convert and couldn’t stop thinking of it ’til now! *drooling*
I love it so much, that I don’t mind paying over P300 for a taxi or Grabcar ride from my house in Fairview to The Grove by Rockwell in Pasig just to get to taste their food again. For me, it’s all worth the effort. Worth it dayuhin!
During my most recent visit, I invited my friends from Ibex Global to join me for lunch at Burger Pub so we can try more of their specials
As mentioned earlier, I wasn’t really much into burgers because I find most of the burger joints here in the metro too overrated and complicated. Complicated because most of them are filled with way too much toppings and overpowering sauces/seasonings that people forget what to primarily enjoy – the patty!
At Burger Pub, the mighty patty is #1! Their burgers are made from fresh Canadian beef, grilled with a bit of salt & pepper, complimented by lightly toasted golden soft buttery buns plus just the right amount of their secret sauce that elevates the eating experience a notch higher. With this, you’ll get to appreciate and enjoy your patty in all its glory! No fuss, no confusing flavors, just good honest to goodness food!
Allow me to introduce you to their signature burgers…
The Pub Original (P345)
170 grams of their signature handcrafted patty made with 100% pure Canadian beef with a medley of Burger Pub‘s Original sauce, caramelized onions, Irish cheddar cheese on a lightly toasted freshly baked buttery bun. Every bite was spot on! It may look so simple, but wait ’til it lands in your mouth….KABOOOM!!! =)
For the burger purists, you can’t go wrong with the Classic (P345)! Patty + bun then smothered with just the right amount of ketchup, topped with Irish cheddar plus an extra slice of cheese for added awesomeness! RAAAWWRRR!!
I love bleu cheese, so I must say my most favorite would be their Bleu Cheese Burger. Patty + Bun + a glorious amount of melted gooey bleu cheese….. Oh Dear, I think I’m in love! Simple yet so sophisticated…. just like me! *ehem *ehem
Aside from their signature burgers, they also have an array of tummy ticklers that will surely tease thy tastebuds …
Croquettes #1 (P190) – Crunchy deep-fried potato croquettes filled with cheese and jalapenos
Gambas (P285) – Savory sautéed shrimps in garlic and with a kick of chili!
Beef Salpicao (P365) – Tender chunks of beef tenderloin sautéed in garlic with smoked Spanish Paprika Pimenton de la Vera.
Be sure to save tummy space for these unique handmade Pub Pastas …
Claire Frances– Pasta Fettucce with butter, Parmesan cheese and signature Ricotta cheese sauce topped with bacon!
Aubrey Lauren- Pasta tagliatelle with spicy Arrabbiata sauce topped with flavourful meatballs!
Last but definitely not least, never leave Burger Pub without tasting their churros (P270)! I swear it’s super good! These fluted Spanish freshly fried fritters are served with a duet of thick chocolate and butterscotch sauce. Dunk it onto both sauces and be ready to forget your name. Best enjoyed while hot!
So on your next burger craving, I highly recommend you drop by The Grove by Rockwell and treat yourself with every bit of yumminess that Burger Pub has to offer! I know it may be a bit out of the way for some, but I swear, it’s worth it!
