Filipino Internet superstar Bretman Rock is celebrating the launch of his memoir, You’re That Bitch, with a series of book signing events in Manila. National Book Store, SM Mall of Asia, and SM Megamall proudly present the Bretman Rocks Manila: Book Signing Events, produced by W Talent Management. The events are on March 4, 2023 (Saturday) at the SM Megamall Mega Fashion Hall and on March 5, 2023 (Sunday) at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.
You’re That Bitch is Bretman’s hilarious, honest, and inspiring memoir, filled with essays that reveal more about his childhood, his family, his experience immigrating to America, his love for Hawaii, his rise to stardom, and much more. It’s available for P1,595 at National Book Store.
To get a chance to win one of the 150 slots at each of the book signing events, customers can bring their copy of the book and their proof of purchase to either venue starting at 10:00 AM to register for the raffle. The registration cut-off is 2:00 PM, the raffle shall be held at 2:30 PM, and the winners will be announced at 3:00 PM. The book signing itself starts at 4:00 PM. Customers who have not yet purchased the book may also buy it at the venue.
Bretman Sacayanan, better known as Bretman Rock, was born in the province of Cagayan and moved to Hawaii at the age of seven. His father, a big professional wrestling fan, named him after Bret Hart and The Rock. He started creating humorous videos on Vine and YouTube until one of his videos went viral in 2016.
He now has 8.9 million subscribers on YouTube, 15 million followers on Tiktok, and 18.5 million followers on Instagram. His videos regularly feature his younger sister, Princess Mae; her daughter, Cleo; and their cousin, Keiffer or ‘Miss K’. He has collaborated with several influencers and celebrities, including James Charles, Nikita Dragun, Bella Poarch, and Chelsea Handler, among many others.
He was recognized as one of TIME magazine’s ‘30 Most Influential Teens’ in 2017, and was also included in Forbes ‘30 Under 30 Asia – Media, Marketing, & Advertising’ in 2018. In October 2021, he made history as the first gay man to appear on the digital cover of Playboy magazine. He has also starred in his own reality show, MTV Following: Bretman Rock, and was part of the YouTube Originals 30 Days With series with 30 Days With: Bretman Rock.
