Boyce Avenue’s return to the country this year marks their seventh visit to the country. The band has performed numerous shows all over the country, but this year’s shows are probably the most memorable ones to date.

This year, Boyce Avenue had its very first back-to-back concert in the country with none other than the country’s most streamed artist and Himig Handog 2017 winner, Moira dela Torre.
During their press conference, the members of Boyce Avenue and Moira answered questions that everyone has been dying to ask.

When asked what it was like to have a show together, Daniel Manzano of Boyce Avenue answered, “I think it’s very cool. We’re very excited about this. We’ve been to the Philippines a lot of times; but we never got to do a concert with somebody that’s local, honestly, who has a great voice, has great talent. The idea came out and we were very excited.”

Of course, Moira was very excited, as well. In fact, she revealed that Boyce Avenue was among her most streamed artists when she first started on YouTube. “They have inspired me a lot as an artist, as a YouTuber, [and] as a singer to be consistent with my music and to make it my own. And so to be having a concert with them is surreal,” she said.

It is perhaps no longer a secret that Moira’s management has plans to make her an international artist, just like KZ Tandingan.

Here’s what Boyce Avenue has to say about whether or not Moira will make it internationally: “As far as Moira is concerned, I think we all 100% think she can make it internationally because from what we’ve been hearing and what we’ve seen in her videos, it’s that she’s the queen of emotion, you know? Putting that honesty and that genuine emotion out. And I think with us, that’s kind of the biggest reason that we’ve been able to do well internationally,” Fabian Manzano explained.

“People all over the world want to see that genuine emotion, so we’re excited to see what happens with her career. I think it’s gonna be incredible,” he added.

Now that Boyce Avenue and Moira have done three back-to-back shows, fans have been wondering if there’s a possibility for more future collaborations, perhaps even writing a song together.

There are no guarantees for now, but this is what Daniel has to say: “ We actually have to work out the timing. She’s very busy. We’re very busy. Obviously, we’ve got a vast ocean separating us but if we could find a way to put it together, we would like to.”
“Her voice and just the passion that she brings to her music would go really well with what we do so we can get going someday and it’s something we’re very excited to do,” he added.

As for Fabian, he thinks it might be a good excuse for Moira to come to a tour in the United States.
Boyce Avenue with Moira is presented by Wilbros Live. The shows were held in the Araneta Coliseum on June 1, the Waterfront Hotel Ballroom in Cebu on June 2, and the SMX Convention Center in Davao on June 3.
