The famed Oktoberfest has made its way to the beach as Megaworld’s Boracay Newcoast township launched its biggest Oktoberfest yet.

Set against the island’s world-famous shores, the festivities feature high-octane music, flavorful feasts, and a wide selection of beer and spirits for all to enjoy.
Full Moon Party
The festivities kicked off on October 7 at Cove 2 with a ceremonial keg tapping—a nod to the German ritual that officially opened Oktoberfest. The ceremony was led by Hon. Frolibar Bautista, Mayor of the Municipality of Malay, Aklan; Kimberly Pineda, Malay Tourism Representative; together with Tinay Villanueva, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls SAVP and Head of Brand, Creatives, and Marketing; Vanessa Vicente, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls Cluster General Manager; and Jhing Batang, GERI Special Projects Director.
The night came alive with a mesmerizing fire dance performance, followed by high-energy sets from local favorites DJ Mace, DJ Marc Marasigan, and MC Chunk.

Saturday Beach Parties
Revelers are invited to experience a series of Saturday beach parties, featuring some of the most sought-after local musical talents. The exciting evening festivities begin on October 11 with a powerful set from DJ Jimmy Nocon and the dynamic ensemble Soul Tribe. On October 18, the celebration will continue with a high-energy show of Hailey Mendes and Jayson Park. The series concludes on October 25 with an electrifying session featuring Justin V. and Ercobel.
Moonlit Mayhem: Halloween Costume Party
The festival culminates in an all-out Halloween celebration with ‘Moonlit Mayhem’ on October 31—a beach party bursting with costumes, neon lights, and nonstop music.
Come dressed to impress for the haunted costume contest—whether you go spooky or glam, the best look of the night takes home a special prize.
After that, it’s all-out mayhem with glowing drinks, a dazzling neon light show, and heart-thumping sets from Ercobeats and DJ Emcy Gray. Catch their thrilling sets at 8 PM.

Guests can look forward to a full calendar of festivities blending flavor, craft, and island excitement. Every Friday at 6 PM, Liquor Alchemy takes over Cove 2, where world-class mixologists lead immersive workshops and host spirited competitions to crown the most delicious and imaginative cocktails.

As the sun sets, the shoreline lights up with the Island Flame Show, a dazzling series of fire dances and special performances, on October 7, 11, 18, and 31.
Those seeking to explore the richness of homegrown flavors can stop by Local Brew pop-ups, running nightly at 6 PM at Cove 2, where local breweries showcase their most distinctive and refreshing creations.
To complete the experience, the Grill Fest sets up along the beach every weekend, serving flame-grilled favorites, fresh seafood, and smoky barbecues—perfectly paired with an evening of drinks and good times.
