Starting today, TV5’s “Lunch Out Loud” has been renamed to “Tropang LOL” as it moves to the 11 am to 12:45 pm timeslot. This comes after “It’s Showtime” begins airing back-to-back with it on TV5!
However, it is no secret that some of the network’s noontime show team came from ABS-CBN. Billy Crawford was some of the headliners, who addressed what the Philippine Star called “the elephant in the room”. The host said in an exclusive interview with the paper, “Nakakalimutan ng mga tao ng mundo na iisa ang industriya natin at ang manonood talaga dito ang tina-try natin pasiyahin.”

Out of his former co-hosts like Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis, he said that only Vhong Navarro has kept an open line with him. Yet, he knew this day would come. He remarked, “I know one day, it’s gonna happen somehow, at magtatagpo rin kami.”
“At the end of the day, it’s a business decision. The guys up there are the ones calling the shots and tayo, we do our best in our jobs para pasayahin ang audience. Audience ang panalo rito,” Crawford said.
