Big Bite! The Northern Food Festival will also feature some of the best of Pampanga’s home-grown brands.
Kabigting’s Halo- Halo
Shying away from the ingredients featured in typical Halo-Halos, get a taste of Kabigting’s take on this special dessert at the Big Bite! The Northern Food Festival. This dessert combines shaved iced with ground kidney beans and sweet cream corn, with Carabao milk and pastillas as its special factor. Simple but very good.
Nathaniel’ s Buko Pandan
“Pampanga’s Famous Buko Pandan Salad” can be found in Nathaniel’s.
Pampanga’s Best Ham and Tocino
Another line of products to try at the Big Bite! The Northern Food Festival is Pampanga’s Best and Mekeni Foods meat products, such as their tocino (sweet cured pork strips), tapa (savory marinated meat), and longganiza (Filipino-style sausages).
Susie’s Cuisine – Tibok tibok
Tibok-tibok is a creamy coconut and carabao milk pudding topped with fried coconut bits.
Big Bite! The Northern Food Festival won’t be complete without the existence of unusual fares, though! Try to have some of Pampanga’s exotic fare such as betute (stuffed frog) and camaru (crispy crickets).
Although they are different from our usual food, they almost taste similar to staples such as the frog tochicken. Surprisingly, I found the camaru similar to chicharon.

Big Bite! The Northern Food Festival is not only for eating, either. Check out the other activities you could do in the next page.
