Those who linger in Katipunan are all too aware of its obsession with wings. While there are about five establishments in the area who offer the same menu, we have to take into account how well it caters to students–its affordability in price, the space to study or socialize in, and how good a deal the food is.
That being said, don’t let Kaboom Wings + Burgers go right under your nose. The home of glazed fried chicken cuts and hand-eaten signature burgers is located right beside Techtite E-Sports Lounge at the 2nd floor of 318 Katipunan Building, F. Dela Rosa St.
Military themed, the store concept emerged from the Filipino-American soldiers who attend Balikan military exercises in the owner’s hometown in Capas, Tarlac. Since then, Kaboom vows to bring a blast of better flavors and braver stories.

The usual American food is confronted with a twist of Filipino-inspired flavors.

Their chicken comes in forms of wings buffalo cut, tenders chicken fillet, and shots on stick. Its best-seller glaze flavors are Sweet Soy, Tangy Barbeque, Drunken Buffalo, and Butter Honey. Three dips of garlic mayo, honey mustard, and chili bang bang are served along with every plate.
Wings start at Php 150, while burgers start at Php 88.

Additionally, Kaboom offers a chicken-all-you-can promo for only Php 198 per head on every Wednesday of October. Catch the last Wednesday for the promo on October 31 next week! Kids can avail of this promo for only Php 99, while kids under the age of three can have it for free. Just add Php 50 for unlimited rice and one glass of iced tea.
Aside from wings and burgers, the store also offers several selections of pasta and milkshakes, perfect to accompany your hot dish.
Kaboom Wings + Burgers also has branches located in Capas and Recto. The store is open for franchising.
