Local band Ben&Ben is undoubtedly currently one of the biggest acts in the Philippines. Amassing millions of monthly listeners (4.4 million on Spotify, to be exact), Ben&Ben is no stranger to music festivals and shows, often in headlining positions.
In fact, their following has become so huge (and not to mention so loyal), that in September 2020, the band officially established a name for its fandom—Liwanag, which means light in Tagalog. An appropriate fandom name for a band whose songs often feel like a source of light and hope to their fans.

To celebrate three years of Liwanag fandom, Ben&Ben took to their social media to pen a sweet message for their loyal fans. They wrote:
Dear, Liwanag..
Happy happy 3rd Anniversary!
Magmula ng mabuo ang Liwanag, napakarami na rin nating napagdaanang magkasama. Maliban sa mga di malilimutang mga shows at concerts, at maraming awiting kinantang magkasama, kahit papano, nasubaybayan din namin yung pagsulong ng mga buhay niyo, sa pamamagitan ng pagkwento niyo sa’min kung kamusta kayo, mapa-online man or pag nagkikita tayo sa mga shows.
Gusto naming sabihing, proud kami sa kung papaano mo salubungin ang tamis at pait ng buhay! Nakakahangang makita kung pa’no ka magpakatatag, magpakatotoo, at higit sa lahat, kung pa’no ka magmahal at mag-alay ng sarili. Ang dami naming natututunan sa inyo.
Maraming maraming salamat sa pagpunta sa mga shows, pakikinig ng mga awitin, pagbili ng merch, pagvote sa amin online at lahat ng iba pang paraan ng pagpakita ninyo ng suporta. Ramdam namin ang pagmamahal niyo, lagi’t lagi.
Salamat sa pagkapit kahit na may mga pagsubok, sa’n man sa buhay galing yung mga yun.
Saan man tayo dalhin ng buhay at ng mga pangarap natin, gusto naming sabihing, lagi’t laging magiging magkaugnay ang mga puso natin. Sa bawat liriko at nota ng mga kantang sinusulat at inaawit, kayo ang nasa puso’t isipan namin. We will always work our hardest and make you proud! Let’s reach new heights together.

Ben&Ben is a nine-piece alternative-folk band formed in 2017. It consists of twins and frontmen Paolo Benjamin and Miguel Benjamin Guico, Poch Barretto, Jam Villanueva, Agnes Reoma, Andrew De Pano, Toni Muñoz, Keifer Cabugao, and Patricia Lasaten. The band started rising to fame in 2019 following the release of their first studio album Limasawa Street, which produced a couple of hits like “Kathang Isip,” “Leaves,” “Ride Home,” and “Maybe The Night.”
